Assalamualaikum
Hello . Hi . Welcome to my blog
Well, time seems to be passing really fast since the end of the PMR. What? PMR had ended? Yeah, it had, and now I am officially free from any classes, school, prep and else. However, that was all felt by my batch mates. So, how about me you ask? Actually, I was selected to present The Malay College Kuala Kangsar ( my beloved school xD ) for a national program which was the High Performance Schools National Symposium at SMAP Labu, Negeri Sembilan. My comrades were Rezza Emir Azhar and Megat Shahruzzaman and we were required to write a folio about a program that involved the application of 'Soft Skills' that was held in our school and present it with the aid of multimedia presentation. We decided to present about The Malay College International Youth Development Summit 2012 with the theme of World Peace Begins In School and it was truly the right choice :)
To make it short, I have learnt a lot of new, important things from this program such as the application of soft skills in our daily life. I also managed to widen my circle of friends and we had a great time together throughout the program which was held for 4 days from 21-24 October. My team mates and I was situated in a same dorm as SAS, SDAR, KISAS, SMKAK and SOKSEK. To be honest, our dorm was the liveliest dorm throughout the program and we always stick together and do things together. ABU DAUD. Yeaa, that is our dorm name :) Everything was fine and the program went smoothly. As the English Presenter for my school, I was without any doubt a little bit nervous in the beginning but soon I managed to put a stop to it after I had witnessed the presentations from the other schools. So here comes the best part of it,
*drumrollsssssssssssssssssssssssss........................................* :D
MCKK managed to get 2 Platinum Award and 3 Gold Awards. I contributed 1 Platinum Award for the Best English Folio and 1 Gold Award for being in the Top 15 English Folio Presentation. Alhamdulillah, I was so grateful for the achievement. In the end, my effort was not in vain as it was indeed a great achievement for me as the other participants were mostly in Form 4 while I am in Form 3. Although it was hard for me and the others to leave and be back on our separate ways, we still had to go through the sad part. But no worries, as Facebook is still connecting every single one of the participants up till today :D
